AIDC was commissioned by Al Meera to redesign its University Street location into a phased retail development, allowing continuous business operations. Phase One introduced a new supermarket adjacent to the existing site, while Phase Two planned for its demolition and replacement with an anchor store, smaller retail units, and a 300-space underground garage. Despite securing all permits, the project was later descoped due to budget constraints. AIDC led the architectural and interior design, collaborating with a local AOR and structural engineer.
